We moved here 4 years ago and our 1st trip to this small, wonderful home cooking restaurant. It will not be our last visit! The service is so friendly and even brought a whole BBQ rib to try after I asked if they were spicy. Mmmm. Best BBQ Ribs since we moved here and best hand cut fries EVER. My husband had the chicken and waffles and agreed we will be back!
Stumbled upon this gem in the middle of nowhere. True home-cooked food, great prices, and two people running the entire shebang better than a "fully staffed" restaurant. I knew it was going to be good when I saw her literally squeeze the lemon for the lemonade the person at my table had ordered. Two people, doing everything with no wait time and super friendly service.
Stopped in for breakfast this morning with a large group, 8 hungry adults all together. While they are not set up to handle big groups like that, and I wouldn't put them in that position again without calling ahead next time, I have to say they handled it great. Even the local regulars pitched in and helped us get seated. It honestly felt like eating at mom's house when the family was all in town. Can't say enough good things about the service and atmosphere. They really make you feel welcome and that they enjoy what they are doing. The food was all brought out quickly and tasted fantastic too. My coffee never even had a chance to get cool before it was being topped off all with a completely full dining room and servicing takeout orders. Great little spot to stop by for a real down home breakfast. Oh, and you just have to try the stuffed french toast! All I can say about that is wow. Eight very hungry adults left the place completely puppy bellied and satisfied! Looking forward to our next visit!
We found this little gem! We just moved in the area and were looking for a little diner! We found it! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is amazing and friendly. The price is awesome and the food is absolutely delicious! We just had breakfast today but will be back for everything else throughout our time living here! The biscuits are buttery, and everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection! Look forward to future visits here! If you are traveling through, stop and enjoy some good vibes and food in this tiny little diner!
If you're due for a scenic drive and would like to go somewhere to eat while out and about, then this is a place to truly consider. The restaurant isn't very big but it is full of heart and character. The decor is cute as as a button and also unique. I love the fact that it's practically in the middle of nowhere and yet, being from the country myself (not that I know how to milk a cow), I still feel rather at home. Beth and her husband pretty much run the place themselves alone, yet they still keep the place hopping. They make a good team. But, the food is definitely the draw, as any local patron will tell you. And, it doesn't matter if you're there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, so I was told (check for days and time open). I, myself, have not been there for breakfast before. However, I do have that on the backburner as a goal. What kinds of food do they have, do you ask? Well, they have anything from ribeye steaks to fried fish dinners, quesadillas, bologna sandwiches, vegetable plates, or even corn fritters, just to name a few. What's my favorites? I haven't been there very many times but I can vouch for them having mouthwatering burgers, on the spot handcut fries, right out of the garden tasting salads, and FRESHLY SQUEEZED lemonade. (I've literally seen them in action while they were making the latter.) Dont forget to save room for dessert. Some are on display, some aren't. They won't mind telling you what they have to offer. But, be careful. They can be gone pretty quickly. That strawberry sauce on the cheesecake that my husband let me take a taste test of is still memorable. I hope that this helped. Enjoy! 🤗
