The indoor dining area was bright and clean. The staff were super friendly and very attentive. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and there was a generous amount of meat. The green beans were well seasoned and a little spicy, and the fresh pork rinds were warm and delicious. I highly recommend a visit!
Tonight, a band was playing. I'm not sure about their name, but they were amazing! I gave the food a 4 star only because when it was brought to me. It was all cold and the brisket was very hard. The pulled pork was amazing, along with the MSc and cheese. The menu is pretty good and so are their prices. The service and the people are absolutely top-notch. They all smile and obviously care. I never said anything about the cold food because they were so nice, I felt like I would have ruined their day. Overall the food tasted great!
Great barbecue spot. Highly recommend the friend moon pie desert. It’s Al La mode with a caramel sauce- to die for. Good ambiance.
Went here today seeking to go somewhere I haven’t been before and I’m glad I did. I ordered the sampler, which came with a slider, sausage, chicken, ribs, and 2 sides. Well worth the price of $17.99. While I did enjoy the food very much, there were a few cons. First, the which I view as a stable in BBQ, was very bland and nothing special. It tasted like a low quality store bought sauce that failed for deliver an excitement. The Mac n cheese I ordered and a side seemed to skimp on the “cheese” and the Mac was slightly over cooked. Pros: the brisket is absolutely Devine! It did it disappoint at all. It is definitely a contender against the best brisket you’ve had. The pulled pork was also pretty decent. Add some salt and pepper to it, and it takes it up a notch. The ribs were also pretty good. Tender and almost fall off the bone style. The chicken was juicy and tasted good but had the “chewy wiggly” skin as opposed to crispy skin (just a personal preference for me). The corn bread was also very delicious! It had just the right amount of sweetness, flavor, and depth I look for in a good tasting cornbread. I also had an order of Cue balls, which was like a hush puppy filled with sweet potato, cheese, jalapeño, and maybe another ingredient or two. Definitely worth a try! The service was ok notch. Waitress was very attentive, had a great attitude and took care of me throughout my time there. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. It has an industrial feel which I really like. Good environment to kick back and relax, especially after a long day. Overall I rate this place a 4.2. Recommend to try if you like BBQ, trying new places, or just want to eat out!
Industrial garage atmosphere w hard surfaces, plastic forks & paper plates typifies your dining experience when you enter Saucy's. But the friendly service, tasty barbecue, and casual, small-town dining are what make Saucy's a place you want to return to. The menu offers reasonably priced sandwiches. All items are a la carte. The only thing we saw that combined several items was the Sampler Platter. We chose to share it and were pleasantly satisfied at the meal's end. The Sampler contains your choice of meat slider (brisket for us), a chicken breast, a rib, (both w the sauce rubbed on them), a pork sausage, and our choice of two sides. The 3 bean salad and potato salad were dope! The best choice possible!
