  We had Sword refinish existing hardwood in our home and install matching hardwood in the first floor master bedroom and the whole second floor. We were not onsite at all and they did an absolutely gorgeous job. After we moved in and decided to add a sunroom, we naturally asked them to come back and install matching hardwood. It looks like it has always been there. It is beautiful and the Sword folks are honest and just great to work with.

  Sword extended our existing hardwood floor from our eat in kitchen to the cooking area and laundry room beyond. The picture shows where the 35 year old floor met the new one - the match is beautiful, right down to the grain! The picture shows right where the old and new floors meet - you can see how flawless it looks! They were skilled, efficient, very professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend them!!

  This is an exceptional family owned small business. The subfloors in our house (13 year old house) where extremely out of flatness (up to 1 7/8” in some areas) and damaged for numerous reasons. The Swords came in methodically and repaired the unevenness of the floors by repairing and strengthening our weathered subfloor, shaving down crud that was on the joists, sanding and adding shims where needed and replacing two unsalvageable boards. They did not compromise the integrity of our house be destroying the old subfloor (various contractors came in and said to remove all the subfloors which is NOT and option - it compromises the integrity of your house!).
  
  Daily, they explained what they were going to accomplish and summarized at the end of the day what they did. They are wonderful people to work with that have a methodical, think outside of the box approach, creating the beautiful hardwood floors of your dreams where door thresholds blend in seamlessly to carpeted areas. The space is roughly 1500 sq feet, to include a foyer, hallways rolling into a great room, dining room, kitchen and stairs. The Swords were able to create a fluid, beautifully modern hardwood floor that looks stunning. They truly take pride in their work and I highly recommend them.
