Ford's Fish Shack Ashburn

The rockfish daily fish special was fresh and delicious. It came with rice that was especially tasty.
The grilled chicken sandwich was very good and the thin straw fries were even better.
Service was quick and the server was very knowledgeable about everything except wine. His beer knowledge was very thorough.
We enjoyed dessert as well.
I would definitely recommend this to fish/seafood lovers and the non fish options are good as well.

Food was amazing! Ordered fish and chips, fish was fresh and not overly greasy. The fries were hot and delicious. The fried shrimp was also tasty and accompanied the meal perfectly as an add on. Sauces appeared to be made fresh as well. Partner also enjoyed her chicken Caesar salad which was quite the surprise. Service was a bit slow but since it was the holiday weekend not unexpected. Will definitely be back to try other entrees.

Last minute dinner out at Ford's Fish Shack tonight. Our server, Virginia, was delightful and when my 7 year old wanted his own blueberry lemonade she went out of her way to bring him a lemonade plus some blueberries he could mash up & add so he had his own "cool" drink. I ordered him the kid's salmon which was great, as usual.
My husband ordered the clam chowder and the fish & chips. I ordered the fresh catch special of arctic char but asked for it to be prepared as they normally prepare their salmon. Everything was absolutely delicious! My artic char came out as actual salmon (simple mistake especially because of how I ordered it). The manager, Donn, came out immediately and apologized and told me to go ahead & eat what I'd like and he'd have a new arctic char made as I'd requested. Both Donn and Virginia were very gracious about everything. Additionally, Donn took both the salmon and the char off of our check AND comped us free desserts!! What a way to show customers that you really care about their satisfaction & business. We will continue to patronize Ford's as usual but I had to tell people about how they went above and beyond for us tonight.

Ford's Fish Shack Ashburn is now my new go to spot. Went there for the first time last night and my experience was awesome. Our waiter was extremely kind and attentive. And the food was above and beyond. Plus the prices were not that bad at all. I definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

Pretty decent. Good place for a quick bite. The tacos looked amazing. I should've ordered them, the lobster roll was good, but a bit disappointing. ***This was 4 yrs ago, we've been back many times and everything else has been fantastic. Thanks. I should've changed the 4 star to a 5 long time ago.***
