(February 12, 2019, 6:18 pm)The Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, VA is a lovely destination. The decor in the lobby and the rooms is elegant, beautiful, and simply luxurious. The concierge and front desk staff are top-notch. The grounds are beautiful with lots of activities for everyone. Unfortunately, the spa was booked well in advance of our arrival, which is unfortunate. We had a lovely, spacious suite that we enjoyed very much. The bar (Gold Cup) and the restaurant were both very good. Certainly worth a visit. It's close to a lot of attractions, but the resort is an attraction worth enjoying.
(February 10, 2019, 4:06 pm)My partner and I went here for an early Valentine's celebration. We heard about the hype here and wanted to experience it for ourselves and boy, were we blown away. The diversity of workers were so appreciative and every person was kind: Justin, the gentleman who checked us in, was the start of such a pleasant experience; Anna and Alex, did such a wonderful job helping us have an extremely memorable dinner; Bryan was our waiter for brunch and he was so attentive and friendly. I could tell that each person who worked there, was proud of their jobs and took their interactions seriously. My partner and I went to the spa to get a hydrofacial and massages--both were excellent! We will definitely go again, especially since we only live 36miles away!
(January 24, 2019, 10:44 pm)My favorite Resort in VA. 20 miles away from Fairfax \ Vienna. Very classy and luxurious. The spa is unique, they have the color therapy showers. the pool is my favorite part in the summer time. I got a massage service over there and it was very relaxing. the cookies in the relaxing area are so delicious!! I went there in the holiday’s season and the Christmas tree was lovely.
(January 21, 2019, 10:05 pm)Really great service. Not much to do in the winter but there's a gym, pool, and spa. Also some lobby areas with a bar. Don't expect too much out of room service food (a little bland for my taste), but the cheese board was really good. Very close to town so there's plenty to get into
(January 5, 2019, 2:12 pm)What a wonderfully luxurious resort with beautiful grounds. The little town of Middleburg is so quaint. I love the Salamander Resort. The service was superior. So many little details from the nightly turn down service complete with delicious cookies, to providing bath salts to take a relaxing bath in the free standing bath tub (I’m a HUGE bath person). The Salamander is now on my list of spectacular places to stay and I will certainly be back.
