(August 14, 2018, 2:31 pm)Professor Passos and his team are really awesome, this is a great place for anyone looking to learn about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from brand new students to experienced competitors. This school is really amazing because they are open and welcoming but also practice and teach Jiu-Jitsu at an extremely high level. Highly recommend that anyone who is interested go and check it out.

Even better - you're not babied. The best way to learn is to do, and one gets to go hands on right away here. The experience along with the level of coaching makes it the best in the NoVA area for all ages and skill levels. -

It was definitely a challenging learning environment. They will push you and you will be better for it. I will definitely be back when I’m in town!

Everyone is welcoming and genuinely interested in you picking up the technique, learning and understanding the game of Jiu Jitsu. The technical instruction is detailed and broken down into digestible parts, which is then overlapped with the movement theory behind each portion. Tony and staff are all top notch. If you've ever considered Jiu Jitsu at all, this is the place to get started.

(April 25, 2018, 3:00 pm)I'm currently a white belt with one stripe. I had the chance to visit Team Passos Jiu Jitsu when I was away from my home Jiu Jitsu Academy. The guys there made me feel at home and helped me out a lot just from the one day I was able to visit. It was a challenging and educational experience. Definitely would go back if I'm ever in the area.
