Fred was SO helpful! We got a rug runner for our stairs and the process was simple and affordably priced. We were able to take samples home with us, we were not pressured by sales people, and our end product was fantastic. It took about 2 weeks from start to finish. Can't say enough about every step of the process and the great service here. They even made a hall runner and entry rug for us with the leftover carpet! We will come back again and again.

Before arriving at Select Flooring, Kitchen & Bath showroom in Sterling, VA, I have visited numerous showrooms that sell LVP products to obtain a quote for a complete installation job (LVP with a minimum thickness of 5mm with SPC core, and wear layer of 22 mil or greater, moisture barrier/padding) for my basement with a total area of 700 SF. I concluded the sales staffs were only interested in making a sale and lack completely of any knowledge on LVP products, and one of them even suggested I buy the Styrofoam balls sheets for moisture barrier and touted as a “best” product to use with the installation of LVP.

As my good fortune smiled upon me, I stumbled across the “Select Flooring, Kitchen and Bath” website, and noticed all of their 5 stars reviews, and after reading all of them, I had to visit the showroom.
Upon my arrival I met a gracious and very knowledgeable gentleman named “Mr. Fred” – he happens to be the owner. I shared with him my requirements as he listened attentively to my needs, and began to show me the products in his showroom that met and/or exceeded my requirements. There was absolutely no pressure to make a sell on his part.

After 45 minutes in his showroom, I selected the style of LVP that exceeded my requirements, including the top-of-line (yes, I did my research and Mr. Fred was telling the truth) moisture barrier padding, quarter round base moldings, and transition strips, and his quote was the best of all the 5 showrooms quotes I have received. It was an enjoyable experience doing business with Mr. Fred.

Now for his team on installers (Manuel and Pepe). They arrived at the promised time and meticulously began their work. They were extremely careful with their installation process and were very respectful of our house and outdoor space. They examined every plank to ensure the locking ridge is not damaged before locking it into place, and each plank is leveled after it was installed. I was very happy with their workmanship because it shows they care about their customers.

Toward the conclusion of the project, Mr. Fred came by my house and inspect the installation process, and asked if I was happy with their work. Wow! Mr. Fred gives an entirely new meaning to “customer service”

In summary, do not hesitate to shop at Select Flooring, Kitchen, and Bath for your needs. You will be extremely happy you did. I know I am.

We recently had new laminate floors installed by Select Flooring. We were so pleased by the entire experience. They finished our entire townhome in 2 days. The installers were very nice and accommodating. I was extremely impressed by how professional their team worked. They removed all the old flooring and even fixed our squeaky subfloors. I highly recommend Select Flooring for all your flooring needs. Fred and David are both very helpful and sincere. They offer very reasonable pricing compared to other flooring companies. The head floor installer (I believe his name was Merlin) was really nice, and took his time to accommodate our needs. I would recommend Select Flooring to any of my friends and colleagues. Definitely worth your time to check them out.
