A warm accepting place for everyone. Tons of young families. A place that gets that service to others and loving each other unconditionally is how you share God's love for us
St. Matthew’s is a community full of some of the best people you’ll ever meet. It wasn’t until recently that I started really becoming part of this community, and I quickly met some of my closest friends, along with some of the best mentors I’ve ever had. St. Matthew’s is one of the few places I am the happiest version of myself, and I am grateful everyday that I get to be a part of such a welcoming and loving family.
We found St Matt's via a Google search during COVID when we moved to the area, and are so thankful that we did. The staff is all genuine and welcoming, and I believe this group of people truly care about us. A year of attending services and getting to know folks has shown that they have a deep commitment to serving the Sterling community. Lots of opportunities to support local schools and families. The congregation is a good mix of ages and there are a couple different styles of services available on Sundays.
We had a fantastic experience holding our son's Eagle Court of Honor at Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church. The Parrish Hall and Sanctuary provided a spacious and well-appointed setting, and access to the kitchen made catering a breeze. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the warm atmosphere added to the overall success of the event. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a special occasion.
St. Matt's is a unique Episcopal Church. Their services range from formal to contemporary worship, but they always have lots of fun and don't take themselves too seriously. They really make a difference in the nearby community too! Great church!
