The spirit house is by far the best sober house I have ever lived at. Speaking from experience (10+ sober hses) this is a great place to live. The managers care, the housemates do as well. The structure is amazing. Even now, I reflect on my time at the spirit house and I get a warm and fuzzy feeling. If you take suggestions, stay honest and are willing to go to any length.....

Saint Paul Spirit Houses are amazing! The 12-Step Based program that they provide, along with a safe living environment, have saved my life. The houses are immaculate and are all located in safe suburban neighborhoods. I would highly recommend Spirit House for anyone looking for a safe place to live and get sober.

St. Paul Spirit House was everything plus more than I expected. I felt welcomed and at home the minute I walked through the door. The program they run is for people who are serious about getting/staying sober. They help guide you to any resource that you may need during your stay. The houses are always kept clean and the houses are a great environment to be in. I fully recommend anyone to live here as they provide a great foundation to the beginning of your sobriety.

I have been a member of St. Paul Spirit house for 14 months now, and am happy to call this place my temporary home. I am 21 months sober and came from a different sober housing facility that felt more like a business. (I spent 6 months there and have been sober since leaving treatment.)
Even though this is meant to be transitional sober housing the people that administer and operate St. Paul Spirit House make it feel like home.
Living here has given me a stable, safe, and caring environment to grow in my sober program along with learning personal accountability.
I can definitely say that this place has helped me grow as a man and learn how to get along and live with other people.
The houses are well kept and clean. If there is any issues with something broken it is fixed and remedied right away. Barb and Pat truly go above and beyond to help people on their journey in sobriety.
