Mike and his team were very helpful from the minute I was referred to their shop. I cannot emphasize enough how far above and beyond they went to ensure my vehicle received the appropriate repairs it needed. The entire time I felt like Mike and his team were honest and forthcoming with their professional assessment and with their communication. They provided me with a list of repairs needed and explained everything out to me both in the estimate (with pictures) and on the phone. I received constant updates the entire time about the progress of the repairs.

Mike was very knowledgeable about my vehicle due to his extensive experience in the industry and with my automaker. The attention to detail from his company was really appreciated. Mike believes in his team and stands behind his work. I would highly recommend them for any job - big or small. In a quest to find a specialized shop that has high quality techs, as I was able to meet Mike ( the owner ) via some friends. Hesitantly, based on bad experiences, I didn’t want to make the voyage to the shop without seeing what I was getting into. To my surprise, a very well cared for facility, high caliber tech, and more importantly the performance / race engineering needed for the job at had. My request for an aftermarket differential install was not one of ease, do to a specialized platform and an immense amount of labor. The team at Hillyard was great. I got periodic updates and pictures of the progress. When the project was delivered, some “ aftercare “ was needed and it was discussed. What to check for., what to look for, and the assurance if anything arrises just to come back. A mere 30 miles away from me, I’m a customer for life. Bolts marked, the attention to detail and care. Car stored inside overnight, the list goes on. Class A facilities with Master Techs that really know a lot about racing / suspension/ and truly dialing a car. Very appreciative of the whole team and that’s is why I’m a customer for life.

I have taken my Lexus IS-F to Mike and his team for multiple standard maintenance items which included new performance brakes, oil change, O2 sensor replacement, new tire install and balance, alignment and radiator install. They also did custom work which encompassed R&D on a differential install from an RC-F, a custom heat shield for my O2 sensors to protect them from my exhaust and even caught a crack in my intake box which they addressed for me as well! This shop is one of the best shops I have ever done business with. I would highly recommend Mike and his team for any standard maintenance and custom performance work as well!

Great experience at Hillyard’s Automotive. They completed an Airmatic to coilover suspension conversion on my E Class Mercedes-Benz. My Airmatic suspension failed and was going to be costly to replace, so a combination of going with a conventional suspension setup and taking it to Hillyard’s was very cost effective rather than dealer pricing. They completed the job quick and I am a satisfied customer.

Mike (the owner) and his team did some body repair to my driver side fender and front bumper on a car that my insurance would have definitely totaled. When they determined no damage was done to the frame, he said they could bring it back to life. They did a great job and at a great price, which saved me a ton, and more than my insurance would have covered.
Hillyard Auto, got it done ahead of schedule and kept me updated on the progress every step of the way.
