“Very beautiful church in a very beautiful town!”
Address: Purcellville, VA 20132, USA
“I grew up in Purcellville, and my father was the minister at St. Peters, as well as, in two surrounding towns, which were Hamilton and Roundhill. We lived on the right side of St. Peters Church in a wonderful brick house with a hugh yard with many many trees some of which were apple trees and our next door neighbor would pick the apples and make homemade applesauce and give us some to enjoy! We thoroughly enjoyed. Just growing up in a small town was great as you learned about life and its beauty and to top it all off, you could say hello to anybody and get a pleasant ' how do ya do '. ”

“St. Peter's is a caring community of Christians striving to turn strangers into friends. There are many ways to get plugged in. Sunday services are at 8 am and 10:30 am. The Fourth of July celebration is a heart warming late afternoon filled with Americana, from live music to excellent BBQ dishes to an emotionally moving reading of the Declaration of Independence. Backpack Sunday is a favorite of school children, as is Blessing of the Animals. Then there are weekly classes and youth group events, such as hikes, movies, baking sessions, beach vacations and other fun activities. Monthly, healing services include oil anointment and individual prayers. Come and visit. You'll be thankful you did!”

“Loudoun Valley Christian Academy is fantastic. The nurturing staff not only educated but sincerely cares about the children. Have sent two kids through there and couldn’t be happier. Also the MOST cost affordable daycare in Western Loudoun hands down.”

“Middleburg Baptist is, historically, the ecumenical church of Middleburg, Virginia since the 1800's. Today, it is a beautiful building with a great feeling of heart and history. The sound of music resounds very movingly inside, and the upper loft provides great viewing for Middleburg's yearly Christmas pageants, and a quiet place to retreat. It's adjacent cemetery is dotted with very handsome historic trees, a lovely lake, and hundreds of unique and aging grave markers and statues. The congregation at Middleburg Baptist is today very small, but it is a welcoming and intimate group of loving individuals. I witnessed my father's baptism in this historic church, and love worshipping here with this congregation upon my visits to Northern Virginia.”
