“On a Saturday morning, my jeep started spewing smoke on the side of the interstate with my two small Kids inside and loaded fully with items from my business. Ed (the owner) was prompt to return my call, less than 5 minutes. he gave me step by step instructions how to leave me vehicle for him so I could get my two kids to safety and off the narrow shoulder with large trucks running past at 80 mph! within 2 hours he texted me that he had my vehicle and would take a look at it! To my extreme luck it was an easy fix! Within a day of looking at it he had it fixed and ready for me to pickup! He was flexible with my schedule for pickup as I live over an hour away from his shop! Great small business and personable!! And reasonably priced!! Hopefully I never need another tow that far from home, but if so Bumpass Towing will be my ONLY call!”

“Our group of 24 came from 5 different states to gather for Christmas week. This home was the biggest blessing! Clearly it is a gorgeous home. Because it was winter, we were unable to really use many of the outdoor amenities. But the fire pit was greatly enjoyed as well as fishing from the dock. Almost every room has the most incredible water view and sunrises that were so gorgeous every single day. The one thing the pictures don't capture is that the water view, especially when the leaves aren't on the trees, is more than 180 degrees. It's stunning! We also enjoyed family walks down the long driveway. Our family has rented multiple homes from NC to MD for reunions, and none has accommodated us as well as this home. The layout of the home allows for each suite to feel private and quiet. The bathrooms/ showers are lovely. There are so many different areas of the home for entertaining and relaxing that you can always find something to do or a quiet place to escape if you have a large group! The children were NEVER bored in this home, between the play room, movie room and pool table. Because it was a holiday week, we were planning to do lots of cooking. We were completely impressed with how well equipped this kitchen was! With this many people, we were constantly cooking and cleaning up. There was plenty of refrigerator space. We so appreciated the double ovens. Having two dishwashers was amazing; one was always humming along while we were loading the next. The layout of the kitchen is just perfect for working, serving and entertaining. It was truly perfect! We also loved the intercom system. Obviously there would be so much more to say if the weather had permitted more outdoor play. Since we had gathered from many states, we did enjoy an easy day trip up to DC to see the sights. Last of all, the owner was completely accessible, helpful and amazing to work with. I couldn't recommend this place more!”
