The pandemic really highlighted the importance of mental health, especially for teachers. We teachers knew how difficult it was to teach online, so I wasn't sure about teletherapy. I had a therapist and tried continuing services through telehealth, but I felt I really needed to see someone. In the midst of the pandemic I could not find any office that was doing any in-person counseling and was at a brink of a mental breakdown. After calling hundreds of counselors and having no luck, I got a hold of this office. They were open and seeing patients in the office during the pandemic. I was literally crying with joy and relief when I was making my appointment! (Which, btw, they have an amazing front office that was so supportive and comforting!!) They made sure that I felt safe not only physically (COVID precautions and safety measures), but also mentally and emotionally. They were open during the pandemic providing in-office appointments during the pandemic. I can honestly say: HERO's WORK HERE! If it weren't for this place, I would've had a mental breakdown and quit teaching. I've personally referred many of my colleagues to this office to see Jan.

I love teaching and my students, and some of y'all parents need a referral to a better therapist. So I'm leaving this right here.

Jan is a great counselor. He's compassionate and empathetic to all my emotional struggles. He's helped me work through some really tough things in my life. I feel empowered to start taking my life back and hopeful for the future. Great counselor. Great staff.

I cannot tell you how much of a change I've seen after 12 sessions with Jan Weng!! My daughter and my friends see the changes from EMDR therapy. I am so grateful for the safe environment that Jan creates for me during our appointments. He is consistent, professional, and kind. He is a genuine and caring man...It takes time for me to trust and Jan won me over quickly. Violet and the office staff are so sweet and accommodating. They work with my schedule and make my appointments in advance so I don't have to worry every week. I can't say enough good things about this entire group of professional healthcare people.

Our marriage counselor referred me to Jan Weng for individual EMDR therapy. I had some deep-rooted, unresolved childhood trauma that was really impacting my marriage and relationships with family members. Jan made me feel safe, right from the first session. So far, I've had several sessions with Jan using EMDR and I am at a loss for words. I can finally say that I'm finally on a path toward healing from years of trauma...this coming from a person with decades of counseling. Jan has helped me "breathe" again.

Jan Weng is THE BEST therapist there is. I have tried sessions with several other therapists and no one compares to him. He provides a calm and safe environment allowing you to be open and honest about yourself, without ever feeling judged. He truly cares about people and wants to help in the best way possible. He goes above and beyond being a therapist. He has become my friend, who always helps me see the best version of myself. Whatever you are struggling with, whatever the issue, he can help!
