Visiting Angels

There are not enough stars here. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, Visiting Angels was a 15. Absolutely every contact with Visiting Angels was positive and totally supportive, including Robert Kirkendale and Khalid Umerani. In contrast, the Hospice company was a disaster at every turn, and failed my Mom in every way possible. Jo was our caregiver from Visiting Angels, and she was amazingly supportive - not only of my Mom but of me and other family members as well. I do not know how I would have gotten through my Mom's passing at the end if Jo had not been there. Jo really cared, and did so much to support my Mom and keep her as comfortable as possible through the ordeal of her very tough and lengthy passing. There is truth in advertising here. Jo was absolutely a VISITING ANGEL, and I thank God for her.

I recently inquired about care for my father-in-law. Bob was extremely helpful and supportive. He explained the process and managed my expectations thoroughly and clearly. My father's condition deteriorated before we could begin services, but, we would have definitely signed up if we had had more time. This agency was professional and caring from the very beginning; just what was needed in our situation.

Needed quick assignment for "patient sitting" for my mother following hip surgery at a local skilled nursing center. Visiting Angels was prompt, with assignment of staff. Used 7 day per week evening services for a month while she healed and transitioned back to her memory care unit. "Nelly & Yvonne" who worked the time, were wonderful care givers. Prompt and attentive and able to develop a supportive friendship that my mom was able to accept and benefited from the additional emotional support. The support staff that assisted contract signing and scheduling were responsive. Clear signs of a well-run business, during a time of workforce strain post pandemic. I definitely recommend this location for Visiting Angles service and as the need arises will seek out their support again.

My experience with Visiting Angel's, I've been with this Agency for several months now. I can truly say that it is the Crescendo of my life time. The people I meet and greet each day different walks of life but the same how is that possible you say ? We realize that we are all One Big Happy Seniors Community. High praise for the professionalism and responsiveness of Visiting Angels Manassas. From my first point of contact with VA (Bob Kirkendale, to the nurse and the provider, caring people who genuinely worked hard to discern what help I needed and to develop the right plan of assistance. Readily available to answer all questions and very clear on all expectations related to the service and the agreement. Found my assigned care giver knowledgeable and caring. Appreciated their patience with my sometimes stress-filled interactions (work related stress not VA related stress). Good people.
