(May 7, 2016, 3:58 am)My son started using Alan for his drum lessons at age 7. That can be a challenging age but Alan has been very patient with him. He comes to our house for the weekly lessons, is very knowledgeable, and is very patient. My son continues to improve and looks forward to continuing his lessons. I recommend Alan and his drum instructional service.
(May 2, 2016, 9:26 pm)My son has been taking lessons for 2+ years and he loves it and is learning a lot. I've heard tremendous improvement. Mr. Schrager is flexible and accommodating and lessons are at a reasonable cost.
(May 2, 2016, 3:49 pm)I have been taking drum lessons from Alan for more than two years. I have nothing but the highest praise for him. He is a wonderful person and teacher. He is very patient and understanding. His teaching is very easy to understand. I also like the books he uses to structure our lessons. They are very coherent and the "curriculum" Alan developed makes a lot of sense to me. The bottom line is, if you're shopping around for a teacher, you won't be disappointed in choosing Alan.
