(January 5, 2021, 4:06 pm)Really great little general aviation airport. Cheapest fuel in Virginia, and the Pilot House restaurant right on the field. It's a beautiful flight with the Chesapeake Bay out your window.
(August 11, 2020, 8:00 am)Nice little asphalt airfield with an ok diner close to the field. Cool departures over the Rappahannock River.
(August 7, 2017, 8:32 pm)The owner is a Burley German man who loves what he does. For $90 he will take you for an open cockpit ride in a 1943 Fairchild P19 US Army military training plane. The views are excellent at 650 ft. Ride lasts 20 mins.
