The young man who assisted us in locating what we needed was GREAT! “I have been a patient for nearly 19 years. I travel from Richmond to Deltaville to see Dr. Ransone and for good reason.....he is the best Doctor I have ever had the pleasure to look forward to go seeing. This man takes his time, he gives me all tests and then some to make sure I am as healthy as I can be given my condition. But perhaps the reason I am so impressed is because he takes the time to listen, and understand and in turn explains and answers all my questions. So many of my friends in Richmond complain because when they see THEIR doctor, they feel as though they are nothing more than a number, and then I tell them why I don't mind the drive which is over 100 miles. From in office minor surgeries or the common cold, or cancer, he has been one of the best and kindest doctors I have ever had; and God knows, I have seen plenty in my lifetime! To top it off, his nursing staff is top notch; if I ever have a question, regardless of the day or time I can call and always get help! So to those of you out there looking for excellence in medicine you may just want to check out Dr. Ransone and staff!”

“We visited Deltaville mid week in October and found that this was one of the few places open all week. We ate there twice for lunch. I had the fried flounder sandwich one day and fried rockfish sandwich the other. Both were very good, I liked the tenderness of the flounder a bit better. A couple of the other guys had the burger, and they said it was very good. The side winder fries are terrific. This is a no frills kind of local spot. They were short staffed, but the two waitress were super friendly and really hussled. Outdoor seating, a bar area, and a dining room for seating options.”

“i really like the people who work here and enjoy my visits, but it seems to me that there’s a vicious cycle at play. i have overhead the locals saying that they avoid this place because the prices are too high… i’m no economist, but perhaps if the prices were a bit more affordable, more locals would shop here and the prices wouldn’t need to be so high. it’s easy to have business from the boating tourists who aren’t so discerning, but i do think it’s worth winning over the community who will be loyal for years to come. i’d also love more organic produce, alternatives to plastic, and sustainable options all around!”
