Staff was SO friendly! Breakfast was incredible- way more than we were expecting. The pool was such a hit with the kids and we were sure to visit it every morning! The rooms were big and comfortable. Our only complaints were that the door was tricky to open- the key card needed to be swiped 5-10 times before it would do the trick. And there was a funky smell in our room, but it was mild enough to ignore. Overall this place was great, and a great location too! Close to lots of restaurants & shopping, and a short distance from some beautiful places to visit.
They've done an amazing job on their renovations. It looks great! However, they need to do a better job at requiring their housekeeping department clean their bathtubs, microwaves, and refrigerators. Those areas are very important...especially during a pandemic.
Check-in was easy and the front desk lady was super friendly and very welcoming, which was nice since we arrived around midnight after a 6-hour drive. The room was nice, though the door wasn't locked when we got to the room, everything was clean and well-stocked. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. The blankets were itchy...next time I would bring my own, if you have sensitive skin, I would just bring your own throw. Not a deal-breaker -- just something to keep in mind. Our room faced the street and was right above the entrance and I was afraid we would hear all the noise and the people coming in and out, never heard a sound!!! The room did need some upgrades, the charging outlets didn't work well nor did the clock/radio ones. A/c was a little musty at first but after it ran for a little while it was okay. Breakfast was nice, everything is on a grab-and-go style, which works for us, we like to eat in the room or take it with us. Good selection and the fruit was fresh! There was something for all 6 of us to pick from and enjoy. I really like the little blueberry muffins. There was a sign that read "every 3rd night your room would be serviced" so I wasn't excepting new towels and new shampoos/soaps etc when we got back from Busch Gardens, but it was a pleasant surprise!!! Kids missed out on the indoor pool but that was a great option. We will definitely rebook!
Still got a pretty good selection for breakfast despite corona..... beautiful pool and pretty quiet area. Love the blue lights
