We are very happy we chose The Commons on Thornton for our mother's assisted living facility. The staff is caring and friendly, and the facility is clean and modern. The caregivers are very responsive when our mother needs something and they are always cheerful.

My mom has been at The Commons for nearly two years and is still very happy and healthy. I am active in managing her financial and medical affairs and have had no issues. Covid has been tough but The Commons has done a wonderful job through this challenging time. The have done an outstanding job keeping me informed as related problems developed.
I have the utmost respect for the management and staff. I would recommend The Commons to anyone who needs the services that they offer.

After the death of my dear husband of 68 years and my failing health, it was mutually agreed that I needed to go to a care facility. My dear granddaughter made all the arrangements. My first introduction to the Commons on Thornton was the day I moved into my beautiful apartment. All common rooms are beautifully appointed. All level of services are provided depending on residents needs. The staff is caring and very professional in providing for your needs. There is a full service beauty salon. Wonderful multicultural meals are served daily and served in a beautiful spacious dining room. Holidays are made special. Each morning guests are provided with a list of varied activities. I couldn't be more happy and plan to spend the rest of my days at this most welcoming and beautiful facilty.

1st time here. The restaurant was clean and bigger than expected.
My waitress was not helpful/pleasant. My date and I ignored that little issue, she's basically playing with her own tip.
However, im here for the food & to try something new...papusas. I got the pork & chees & they were very filling. Its similar to a hot pocket, but way better. Its accompanied with various cabbage, jalapeños & onions that add another dimension to the ooey gooey treat.
Overall, the food was great enough to return - even if I do get the waitress who lacks customer service.

If you like authentic, West Coast Mexican food, this is the place. It's not the Tex-Mex that you can get all over town. Service is always great, too!

THE BEST MEXICAN EVER!!! The drinks were delicious, even had salt IN the margaritas, the chips were fresh and the dip was great, the fajita nachos with steak were to die for. Will definitely be making this my go-to Mexican food joint in this area!

This place was awesome! Authentic Mexican food prepared just right. Service was great. Food was plenty and I couldn't eat it all. Had a giant chicken burrito. They weren't lying either because it was HUGE! And delicious!

Definitely will be going back!
