Dr Ani is an amazing surgeon & Urologist. He helped through kidney stones and removed a mass off my kidney. He appears to have great patience, and listens . Always making me feel valued as a patient of his.

Dr. Ani has been caring for my sister and has met and exceeded expectations! He began his care for her after a months long ordeal of pain during which she was shuffled from gynecologists to gastroenterologists and back, with no relief. She finally went to see Dr. Ani who competently noted the 11.5mm kidney stone that other providers had overlooked. He assured her that he would take care of her issue and things were going to be alright. His professionalism combined with that reassuring confidence won him a place in our family's hall of fame. Indeed, he treated her stone and years later continues to care for her through a recurrent and persistent bladder infection. He is patient, thorough, listens and explains, and doesn't cast aside questions or concerns. He seems to be able to anticipate those questions and concerns and is ready with explanations and teaching. Dr. Ani is deserving of the 5 Star rating on so many levels! Dr. Ani is an OUTSTANDING physician who expertly performed laser lithotripsy to treat and surgically remove a large kidney stone. I immediately felt better after the surgery and in one week was back to normal. He continued to follow up offering guidance on stone prevention and I have had no issues since !!!

What is there not to say about Dr. Ani? He is the best in the Hampton Roads area! Dr. Ani is knowledgeable, honest, and his bedside manner is excellent. He’s a doctor that you can ask anything and he will give you a direct answer. My husband has been under his care for the last 6 months up until his surgery, and Dr. Ani has been supportive all the way. He is truly a gifted urologist and we highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed!!!
