Virginia Living Museum

The VLM is still as nice as I remember from childhood visits. The animals are native to Virginia and most of them are rescues. The staff is very knowledgeable. During our visit, we were invited to stay at the catfish and turtle tank to watch the turtles being fed. It was a great experience!

Amazing place for the whole family to enjoy. Spend a few hours looking at wildlife as well as their super cool dinosaur exhibit and activity areas. Safe staff and very clean environment. Well worth it.

This is a great place to get out of the house and enjoy wildlife for a while. We really enjoyed the bobcat and the beavers, but there's so much more to enjoy. Mom has been bringing the grandkids here for years and they always love it. I was happy to be included this time, it's what we needed right now.

My family and I had a great time despite the limitations due to COVID-19. This is a well maintained facility. The building is very clean. Employees seem to wipe high touch areas frequently. They also have a lot more to see than expected. My little cousin enjoyed seeing all the local wildlife this place has to offer. It is an excellent place for an educational trip.

1st time visitor, came with my toddler and friends. Absolutely awesome. Really great trail through the woods, animal exhibits were really cool, very informative but super kid friendly. Wooden trail through the woods makes it great for strollers. We’ll be back for sure!
