Very caring staff. You feel God's presence as soon as you walk through the door. They provided a very special need to my husband's family at a time when we thought no one cared. Love this place.
Never been to this church just did some work next door the people that I met that worked in the church were very friendly a very big church they keep it pretty clean has lots of parking it's very busy there's a lot events send to music if it ends here and anybody that could use a free meal Friday mornings they do have a free breakfast open to everyone keep up the great work thanks to all that help and donate pleasure doing business with y'all
After being away for many years I returned to fine that this church is still home! The people, some who've been around for many years and others who are new to me after being away, all made me feel welcomed and loved. The attendance in the church of the homeless who were also welcomed was amazing. Everyone is welcomed and welcoming. Give them a try!
Anyone who says the place is not welcoming didn't actually attend church - they probably only wanted a free place to park when they went to the mall. It's too bad that someone feels they need to say hurtful things because they didn't want to pay a couple dollars to park.
A "Church with a Heart in the Heart of the City" fits perfectly. The people, music, and pastor are wonderful .. the Trifecta! They practice real Discipleship and make EVERYONE feel welcome. They have formed the Norfolk Street Choir to help the homeless, sponsor NEST during the winter and have a Community meal for those that are hungry. The people are as warm as they come and welcome everyone to share God's word with them. Read their vision and mission statements and those alone will make you want to experience this church. Years ago a reporter dressed as a homeless person sat in the back to see what how he would be treated. The resultant GLOWING column on his acceptance and wonderful experience is still alive today. Church is a personal experience but please put this one on your list!
