Yummy little place for dinner. We went right at 5 when they opened. Our table had jerk chicken tacos, bulgogi lettuce wraps, spicy noodles with pork belly, and the beef & lamb burger. Everything was tasty. The menu was fairly limited but contained a variety of food types and everything was done nicely. Beware the very strong sangria ;) The bread pudding with butternut squash was tasty and the kids gobbled it up.
Neil took care of us. His lighthearted attitude was exactly what we needed after a long day spent at the hospital. I also really enjoyed that the menu was small (which I prefer) and still had something for everyone! Plant based and meat options that made it hard to choose. Ultimately we enjoyed the lamb and beef gyro and the jerk chicken tacos on corn tortillas. 🤤
Both dishes were delicious. The service and food were 5 stars. We look forward to coming back again.
This is a late post but I love this place and want people to know. Found this hidden gem on accident one evening and glad I did. I've been a few times now and each time was great. First time was a few months ago..got cocktails and dessert. Bread pudding was delicious and so were my drinks..staff are friendly and accommodating. Love the outdoor seating. My most recent visit a few weeks ago- I had fish n chips which was perfectly battered and seasoned. My friend had the jerk chicken tacos and loved them. The blueberry lemon drop was excellent and the owner personally greeted us and made us feel not only welcomed but appreciated. Can't wait to go back..highly recommended!
Streats consistently serves great food & drinks!! The outside patio with the fresh herbs & spice plants is a great late dinner option. The Fried Artichoke Hearts with fresh made pesto aioli is a delicious nibbler, along with the Calamari and salad. Really enjoyed the Hand Dipped Beer Batter Fish & Chips and Beef Bulgogi Quesadilla. Try the Blackberry Peach Sangria....you won't be disappointed!
We had the salmon and a beef bowl.
The good: presentation. The food was cooked perfectly. Staff was amazing. The food was delicious
The bad: The salmon was not fresh, but that's expected. They don't serve fresh fish in most of Hampton roads. The beef wasn't exactly traditional. But that's okay. Also, Streats seems to put their own twist on things.
And the price is great for the quality.
