Since my brother is a naval officer and I am a history buff anyway, I joined the tour to learn about America's role as sea power. Our tour guide shared lots of interesting information and made some really funny jokes about the Marines. I even got a birthday? congratulation due to a misunderstanding?. Please wear the mask?. Protect America??.
Great place for deals, the manager/ supervisor will help you out. The staff will also, but don’t expect certain staff to be polite. There is no reason for them to take your I.D., the only reason they need it is to take your proper spelling of your name.
The tours were great they have ship couns you can buy but you have to ask
This is a 45-minute narrated bus tour that chauffeurs you around the base. We passed carriers and freighters, fighter planes, the machine shop, memorial sites, retired aircraft, and all that it takes to make this place run. I would definitely recommend to come and check it out. One thing I would suggest is a better sound system for the buses. At many points, especially sitting towards the back, it was hard to hear the tour guide. All in all, they are very knowledgeable and do a great job.
