Ms. Ann and her staff are amazing! We instantly felt very welcomed into this school from day 1. At the time of starting last year, my son had transition issuses and I was very straight forward with Ms. Ann and his teachers about what to expect, however it was not needed, my son loves this school and all the teachers that the transition was not a problem. After a year of us being here, we still feel welcomed everyday at drop off. I do believe that Ms. Ann and her staff love kids. So fortunate to have found her school and are able to keep coming!
When you think of the term “affordability” most skeptics would conclude a sacrifice to your child’s overall health, wellness, and educational advancements. Colonial Day School is simply not the case. Not only is Ms. Anne a local business owner, she excels beyond the role of traditional Directors by working with the parents, teachers, and students in order to provide an excellent environment. The teachers have dedicated themselves for decades and are hands-on, personable, and enjoy watching YOUR children grow into upstanding citizens. They expand upon the unique differences, educational challenges, emotional stability, and clear communication skills. The children grouped at Colonial Day School come from broad backgrounds but they come together to develop a unique friendship that diminishes the barriers of postmodern societal issues. Colonial Day School excels in affordability and aids those who utilize state assistance while being affordable to the incomes who do not qualify for state aid. Colonial Day School has an outstanding record for excellent health inspections and zero violations. Colonial Day School works with military parents to extend their service hours from 6-6 pm and recognizes the challenges faced with temporary and semi-long term deployments and still maintains direct communication with the service member and the child.
As a family we started here with my daughter in 2015 and based on the treatment, instruction, and the love she received we knew our son would enjoy it the same. We are proud to be a part of the Colonial Day School family. They prepared my daughter for school and as a result she's made the honor every time. We will be here for as long as they'll have us.
Thank you Ms. Ann and staff we would never consider another school for our children.

My son was at an in home daycare from 6 weeks to 2 years old. When that daycare closed, I was concerned about putting him into an actual daycare because he had never been around that many kids. My son has been in their two year old program since September and he absolutely loves it! He went from saying a few words here and there to talking up a storm! He can now identify pictures, colors, and numbers. He talks about his friends and his teachers all the time. They have also been working with me to get him potty trained. From the time I drop him off to when I pick him up, I never worry about him. I know that he's in good hands! I plan on keeping him here until he's old enough to start public school and even then, he will be attending their before and after program. I'd definitely recommend Colonial Day School!
