A wonderful parish with wonderful people. Father Ayers is ideal. Deacon Derek, too. Careful about physical distancing. Well organized kids programs run by Hannah. Glad to be able to attend Mass safely and confidently.
We have been members since 2002. We became involved as Eucharistic ministers, religious ed instructor, usher, flower guild, buildings and grounds. Through volunteering we have met many wonderful people. We look forward each week to see and talk to our fellow parishioners, our Christian family. We feel like we belong here.
We have been a member of Blessed Sacrament since 9/11. It's been our home away from home from the minute we walked through the door. Been a Catholic from birth and rarely missed a service. This has been the best experience of my life. The congregation is more than people we sit next to during services, they are truly are church family. Our pastor, Father Joe is the best! He gives the most inspiring homilies every day. Always brings daily events into our prayer service. Never forgets to pray for our military which is dear to someone spending a career in the US Navy. Been going to Catholic services all over the world and we've found our best worship place here. Thanks Fr. Joe for making our parish what it is today.
What a fantastic community and catholic church. After many years of spiritually searching for where I belong, this is the place. I love Father Joe, he is real and realistic to real life in this era. My 4 year old daughter is even excited to go to the church and be apart of this wonderful spiritual community.
