I’m a little late, but I definitely wanted to leave a review. This place was wonderful. I stayed for two days on my birthday last August, and the homes are not only cute but really wonderfully put together. It’s so peaceful there at night too, even when it was raining.
Most importantly, the owners are wonderful. I had forgotten a hat there after leaving on my last day, and not only did they respond to my initial email of concern about it promptly and politely, they even went through the effort to send the hat back to me! Stellar customer service for an already stellar stay. Can’t recommend enough. Will certainly stay again if I can help it.
Perfect for me and my husband. Not walking distance to the historic district or beach, but was an easy 3 min. drive. We usually like to stay within walking distance but the short drive was so easy it wasn't an issue. The accommodations were cute, clean, and tidy. Wifi was good. We would stay there again.
Comfortable clean rooms with parking near our door. So many thoughtful amenities for travelers. We were able to heat up food with induction cooktop, and there was a toaster oven as well. At night, we enjoyed the fire pit and chatting with other guests and the owners who were friendly - we loved hearing about their travels and creative projects. Very quiet, comfortable sleep. So glad we opted to stay here on way to OBX rather than hotel.
This was seriously the cutest place! The tiny house we stayed in was adorable. Each house has a theme, and the owners take great care in making sure you are comfortable. We were lucky enough to meet them and get a tour of some of the other tiny houses. There is a beautiful tiny greenhouse with some amazing plants. There is also a hammock, firepit, corn hole, and lots of outdoor seating. We had a great time!
My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay here while visiting Cape Charles. This was our first tiny home experience and we loved it!
Our house was clean, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed for the weekend. The kitchen area has utensils, plates, and cups, as well as small appliances, including a coffee pot with coffee grounds available. The greenhouse was so pretty and the outside grounds were very nicely maintained and inviting. Parking was close and convenient. The property is close by to local stores, as well as downtown Cape Charles. We had the privilege of meeting one of the owners, Eric, who was very friendly and kindly shared stories and more history of the property with us, which we were very thankful for during our stay. It's evident how much work, love, and time this couple has put into their tiny homes and this property!
We highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return again in the future!
