“The home is historic & gorgeous. Our room the Alyce Wilson was large and very comfortable & private bath. We fell right to sleep in the comfy bed after driving around all day in our rented golf cart. At night we sat on the covered side porch & loved the breezes on the swing. Innkeepers Tammy & Jim were very friendly & the breakfasts were filling & delicious. Such nice people. Highly recommend Bay Haven Inn you won't be sorry.”

“Nicely maintained docks and grounds. Pleasant and helpful staff. Relaxing views and area. Would recommend this to other boaters. It is a bit of a walk to town to get to any shops and restaurants. They do not rent any bikes or golf carts. The C Pier has a lovely and fun vibe with raw bar food and drinks on Friday nights. A couple of things to make this more worthwhile on a holiday weekend would be to offer periodic golf cart shuttle rides to town and maybe more hours with the CPier open. It’s such a beautiful venue, it could attract more people on the long weekends.”

“After my family left the store my daughter fell on the curb and cut her leg. We ran in simply to ask for some napkins. The gentleman working that day immediately took us to the bathroom in the back and pulled out a first aid kit so we could get her leg cleaned up and then offered her some ice cream. Best customer service I have ever received! Simply being a nice person goes so far! They also have a wide variety of gourmet and craft items!”

“I played the Nicklaus course yesterday, and wow, what an experience. The fairways are wide and long, the greens are well protected, and the views are amazing. The opening hole is a straight shot, but hooking is penalized by a stand of trees. Once you reach the green, you head to hole #2 with water on the left. A slight fade works best on this hole. Hole 3 is a long par 5 with an elevated green. Play what you want, just hit it straight! Hole 4, a par 3, plays directly to the Chesapeake Bay. On #5, you tee off with water on each side. Aim for the trees and fade it onto the fairway. #6 is a short par 3 protected by a natural area on both sides. #7 plays true to length, but with water on the right it presents a challenge to a golfer who hits a fade (or a slice...). #8 is a nice par 4 with water on the right, a green protected by deep bunkers on each side, and water behind the green. A fade OR Draw work well here, although I'd aim to the water's edge and draw it back to the fairway. The final hole, #9, is a par 5 with a wide fairway. There is water to the right off the tee, but beyond the water the fairway is as wide as you'd need. Place your second shot carefully, as there are bunkers protecting the landing area and green. Bay Creek recently converted to a member-only course, but if you'd like to play it, book the Bay Creek Discovery Tour. It's a 3 day 2 night package that includes lodging, golf, spa services, a meal voucher, and a few other amenities.”

The woman that hosted us that day was not a lifelong native of Cape Charles, but is an enthusiastic promoter of the region. I called All Pro and received a call back within the hour. Over the phone the gentleman walked me through a few steps to try and get it working again. These steps worked and they did not have to come out to our home. I am VERY impressed that a company would give up money to come to a home and just help over the phone. Thank you All Pro.
