(December 10, 2019, 7:08 pm)Trails are well maintained. Parking is Fair. It is a pleasant place to come and enjoy nature. There are crabs, birds and occassionally horse shoe crabs. The sand is safe to walk on bare foot. We like to picnic and listen to the small rolling waves, Feel the breeze and relax.
(August 22, 2019, 10:50 pm)Awesome white sand beach. We had lots of fun. Really nice water. We got a spot with a huge pine tree casting shadow, a saviour for a hot sunny day.
There is an abundance of would life if you d like to walk around a bit

Most of Hughlett Point's shoreline consists of a sandy beach that provides habitat for the threatened northeaster beach tiger beetle (Cioindela dorsalis dorsalis). This rare, agile, little insect about 2/3 of an inch long has a white to cream-colored back with dark markings and long dark legs.
