Gables Bed & Breakfast Inn

My wife and I got married in this small town and spent our honeymoon night at The Gables. I highly recommend the experience. We can’t wait to go back!

We spent Memorial Day Weekend at The Gables and were very impressed. The Innkeepers Barbara and Norman could not have been nicer. The food was excellent, we stayed in the Dana Lee Suite, which was right on the water. We really appreciated Barbara's guided tour of the mansion and the history that went with it. Thank you, Barbara and Norman. We will be back again.

We had a wonderful, very relaxing vacation at The Gables. The rooms were beautifully furnished (we stayed in the Coach House), very reasonably priced, and the owners/hosts went out of their way to make our family feel welcome. We chose The Gables because this B&B is right on the Bay and we could put our kayaks in the water easily. Breakfast was delicious! The resident ospreys were interesting to watch and from high up in the main manor house (during our tour) we were able to see the parent ospreys feeding their chick. The manor house is a fascinating place - upper floors were built using the components of a sailing ship. We highly recommend The Gables for anyone - especially kayakers - looking for a restful, quiet get-away.
