“On saturday August 9th, my 90 year old father fell ill at home. I could not transport him to the nearest hospital on my own. I called 911 and the Northumberland Rescue Squad was there at my house in less than 5 minutes; polite, skilled, careful of our belongings: my dad was bleeding and they carefully put down towels so I would not have to clean the rug. They were careful of my cat who might have gotten out and escaped during the event. Two of the EMS people were my neighbors and came by their own cr while waiting for the truck to arrive. I got what amounted to family care from family for a family member and I felt much more at ease. They are to be thanked for their professionalism, consideration, and kindliness. Our name is Kuehn.”
