Good place to walk and view Mother Nature, so glad my son can walk and view as well now
Easy to park at. Beautiful nature. I visited during the snow and it was an absolute treat for me and the dog!
The experience was more spiritual than anything I could have imagined. I was returning from Maryland in a conversation about God and how awesome He is! Traveling and unknown path at night I felt God with us. I will make this journey again...the next time during the day light.
Beautiful grounds. Awesome history. Go see the burial place of General "Stonewall" Jackson's arm is buried.
I visited this sprawling battlefield on a beautiful warm spring day. There is a lot of driving to get the whole story and the route isn't exactly in chronological order. It would be good to go in with a basic understanding of the timeline. That being said, all the info was top notch, all the rain and paths were well kept and the history had been preserved very well.
