  Marty was an excellent host, chef, tour guide and
  driver. His food was great, his suggestion for what we should do was excellent
  and then he drove us to our tasting which made it all more enjoyable. We had a great time, great food and great hospitality.

  The Inn at Poplar Hill is amazing. We often have a hard time finding places that will accommodate us with our 130 lb German Shepherd. Not only did they accommodate us, they had everything set up for us and our dog. Everything from the grounds to the rooms, the service, and the food. We were greeted by Marty at the front door who had already scheduled us a visit at a local winery. Marty had our room ready to go, gave us directions to the winery and off we went. It was first class. That night they made us reservations are a great restaurant that would allow our dog to dine with us on the patio. The following morning we were served an amazing 3 course breakfast and walked the amazing trails on the grounds with our pup. You cannot beat the grounds and service. Truly a top notch act. Thank you for your hospitality and having us in your home!

  Such a wonderful place!!! Marty is a rockstar!!! We were treated like family the second we stepped on the porch till we sadly had to depart.
  The accommodations,conversations,the journey back in time was just priceless. Please make sure you give yourself the time to take in all 28 acres. Such a beautiful place thanks again Marty you ROCK!!!!

  Just a gem of a place!!! We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back again!! Marty was so kind and accommodating. I unfortunately, did not get to meet his wife. But her breakfast bread was amazing!

  This Inn is the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway! It is located in the adorable town of Orange and is surrounded by VA wine country. Marty and his wife were the sweetest, most gracious hosts who went out of their way to help my boyfriend and I plan our weekend. Marty made us reservations at a delicious local restaurant and gave us recommendations for activities to do during the day. On Saturday, Marty drove us around to multiple different vineyards for wine tastings so we didn't have to worry about scheduling a shuttle service, it was so convenient! It was like our own private wine tour! There were always fresh brownies in the entry area and the breakfast was so delicious. I highly recommend staying here for a cozy weekend away!
