(September 14, 2021, 10:02 am)Yesterday was our first time trying Sankofa Kitchen. We ordered Egusi Stew w/ chicken, whole fish w/ jollof rice, plantains, oxtails, cornbread, and fufu. Loved the food! Very well seasoned & delicious 😋. Exceeded our expectations. I will definitely be going back for more 👏🏾 The staff was great! Very welcoming, pleasant, and helpful.
(September 3, 2021, 9:34 am)Great food and always very welcoming vibe. If you love goat try it African style with cabbage/rice. It’s made with a red sauce. Also, not on the menu so you’ll have to ask for it…

(July 25, 2021, 6:29 pm)Food was absolutely delicious! Warm, comforting, and flavorful. Atmosphere was cute and cozy. Will be going back!
(June 9, 2021, 6:30 pm)The outside of the establishment is in much need of a makeover but the food was perfect. I got the whole fish with vegetables and I finished every last morsel. Note that service will likely be slow but it’s worth it.
