Happy Time Food Mart

We ate here regularly when we lived in the area. Now, I live in Norfolk near an MPs and the food is tasteless. Just allspice. We will be driving to Portsmouth from now on to get my Caribbean food.

The macaroni was seasoned and very cheesy. I also like the candied yams and curry goat. It was very good. I'd go back although the goat was salty. Probably try something else.

I've been here 4 times so far and I am now a ferm customer. I get the curry chicken or jerk with rice & peas or sometimes yellow rice, the cabbage is nice, but I always get yams.. If your from Portsmouth and you like Jamaican food cooked right every time, and at a good price come here

Great food! My boyfriend asks me to come here at least once a week to pick him up some food (We live in NC). He's from the VI and says this is the only place around that cooks like they do at home. 10/10.
