Excellent food, service, environment. Went there last weekend after asking friends about good, reasonably priced Italian food, and they came through.
Salads are fresh and leafy, pizza is actually cooked in a masonry oven, to proper temperatures and consistency.
Sauce and toppings cover the entire dish.
This place is the real deal, if you are in Portsmouth or on the other side of the creek, it's right up the road from the Mid Town Tunnel.

This is location has been famous for pizza and Italian food for over 40 years it currently has a new owner and a new name. Wow. Super excellent little place. The food was very good and the service was unbelievable. Try the green eggs and ham pizza.

The set up of this restaurant is different. It is a pizza Cafe that has a large full bar, live music on certain nights with a quiet area if u rather no music. 4 waitresses who were all waiting on all tables efficiently. ALL of he food was excellent. We had bread, eggplant Parmesan, calamari, chicken Alfredo.
