My vet referred me to Animal Eye Care of Richmond for treatment of a mass on my dog's eyelid that was causing irritation. I traveled to my appointment from Fredericksburg VA and expected it to just be a consult. Instead, Dr Bosiak was able to treat my dog on the same day by freezing the tumor under conscious sedation and local anesthesia. He felt better immediately. The tumor continued to shrink over the course of 2 weeks. It has been five months now and no recurrence; you would never even know that the tumor had been there. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Bosiak and the staff at Animal Eye Care of Richmond. I am very grateful for their skilled, compassionate and affordable care.
Fine staff and really fine doctors define this practice. Our Boston Terrier developed cataracts some time ago and this great practice removed the cataracts and they've been monitoring him since. Though the surgery was only partially successful (we knew the risks), I feel very confident in recommending these folks.
Excellent professional care. Remarkable patience for my very difficult dog. Affordable for the average person. Great communication by telephone after visit.
Best eye doctor for the fur babies. Dr.Blair is the best! There might be a little wait, but to be fair they are the only eye specialist in the area until Charlottesville. I would recommend this vet highly to all my friends.
