When our granddaughter came to Richmond and could go to any private school she wanted, after touring several she indicated she wanted to go to BSH because it felt "like home and family." BSH did more for me than I could ever repay. The teachers, staff and parents truly care about the individual as if you were a part of their family. This college style campus provides top level education at the fraction of the price compared to Collegiate or St. Chris. BSH and it small class room sizes allowed to me flourish achieving things I never thought possible. Without BSH I would have never chosen to attend VMI or commission as an Officer in the United States Air Force. We have two boys that are in their first year of attending BSH. Our experience has been nothing but wonderful. The preschool and kindegarten teachers are everything we had hoped for and more. Kind, loving, and motivating! Their confidence is soaring, they are excited to go to school, and our 5 year old is reading! Parent involvement is encouraged on a number of levels here and there are so many wonderful opportunities to volunteer and participate in school activities and events. I've found it to be a supportive, family-friendly environment.
