I write this review in hopes the owner sees it, and understands my reasoning. I visited the restaurant with my husband and friends on 3/5. The website advertised opening at 12. People arrived and lined up for it to open at 3pm, in the cold. After being seated we ordered appetizers, drinks. The drinks arrived in toddler cups, with 3/4 ice. Then we ordered our entrees. Our food arrived 46mins after we ordered, along with the entrees. Every dish was like warm. The triple threat did not appear to be whiting as explained, and didn't come with the fries as advertised. Waitress next came back to check on service or quality. When the bill was paid, there where no amounts next to the items. The cashier /waitress. Had to keep asking for the price of each meal. So, if you didn't calculate what you ordered, on your own. You could have been overcharged. Upon leaving, asked to change a 20, to leave a reasonable tip. They did not have $10s, 5s or singles????? Their was no one to share this with (staff wise). So, I'll leave it here to assist in progress. I will try it again, in a month or two. Hoping this review will aid in improvements. If it continues this way. This location won't last in City Island past 2022.
