  This was a great little place to stay that's a bit off the beaten path. The proprietors were extremely friendly and they made some really delicious food. It is very convenient for any trip to Shenandoah but particularly for the "old rag" hike which you can only enter from outside the park. It's only about ten minutes away from the parking lot by car (which was great when I forgot something and had to run back!). They packed breakfast and lunch for me to take on the hike, which was a huge plus. It's a bit rustic but that just adds to the charm, in my opinion.

  This is the real thing if you are looking for a rustic house situated on a working farm, in this case specializing in all organic products. The owners were away during my stay, but I had a great experience chatting with Tara who was brought in to oversee my stay. She’s a great cook and the fare is farm fresh and homemade good!

  Wonderful place! This is our second year visiting, and hope to return next year. Susan and Mike are genuine folks, we adore them. The farm is beautiful and we love that it is an organic and sustainable one!
  The breakfast was fresh and delicious. My husband and I have dietary restrictions that Susan was more than happy to accommodate. We enjoyed meeting new folks at breakfast each morning, as well as the gratitude Mike and Susan share for their guests. I cannot say enough about this place- other than go there!!

  Peaceful farm setting. Pool. Historic farm house. Great breakfast. Close to Sperryville. Delightful hosts. Great place for families.

  I grew up in the area and for many years I attended the camp here. The owners are some of the most amazing people I ever met and I learned a lot of my life lessons at this place it's beautiful and if you're into scenic countryside I recommend every bit of it with a beautiful lake right near.
