Our family met Sam over 2 years ago to assist with an intervention. Over a 2 year period he walked thru 2 relapses with us. Always available, always compassionate and always providing thoughtful guidance. After getting to know our loved one he helped find the perfect fit in a recovery center. It’s been a long journey but thanks to Sam’s professional guidance the healing is steady and strong. Thanks Sam. You gave us the confidence and strength to get there. Keep making a difference Sam. I hope you know how many lives you are helping to restore.
My son went to a 30 day rehab center and then came home. Shortly after coming home, he started using again. We sent him back to the same 30 day rehab center only this time we knew he couldn't come home. We learned about sober living houses but felt he needed more treatment in order to be successful in his recovery. Then we found Broad Highway Recovery which offered a step down program in which our son and family needed. It offered 24 hour supervision, meals, transportation etc... and he continued to work on the 12 steps. He also got a sponsor that is always available. Sam Davis and his team have saved my son and given him the tools he needs to continue his sobriety. I truly feel that Sam and his staff are compassionate and really care about helping people in need. My son has built special relationships with the guys in the house and they seem to have a special bond. For the first time, I feel like I have my son back! Thanks to Broad Highway Recovery!!!!
What is unique about Broad Highway Recovery is the integrated approach to recovery. The structured living environment, immersion in the 12 steps, community living responsibilities, and recreational activities was what my son needed to find his way. This holistic approach to his recovery allowed him to not only refrain from alcohol/substances, it allowed him to grow emotionally. Activities like volunteering in the senior living facility and house meetings that taught him healthy communication and problem solving skills helped him to really find happiness in recovery. The family program helped our family to understand this disease and how it effects the entire family. We are so fortunate to have found Broad Highway Recovery. Today my son is in college and living a life of gratitude in recovery.
