I’ve been seeing Carmen for over a year and can tell you she’s the real deal. She’s incredibly insightful, empathetic, and genuine. She’s very caring but will happily call out any BS. If you need help and are willing to take a good honest look at yourself, she’ll give you the tools you need.
Carmen does her job well. If you are willing to do the work then she is willing to give her time. From my personal experience the guidance and support I have received at lighthouse (not only from Carmen) has been positive and educational. But at the end of the day YOU gotta make the changes in YOUR life to save yourself. Carmen is a reference guide in the tool kit not the nail and hammer.
Carmen is no B.S. If you are serious about recovery she will help you, but if you're in to playing games she has seen them all and will quickly call you out. She uses a mix of tough love and real compassion for her clients and is one of the few that actually care about the well being of her people
