I hadn’t been there in years because of a previous issue, but am very pleased with my recent visits. “My children have been seen by this practice for 12 years. The doctors and staff are wonderful. They know my children and I by name and give them personal and attentive service. The few times my children have been very ill, the staff all went out of their way to work them in with very little notice. Contrary to a previous review, the front desk staff have always been kind and attentive to us. They have even gone out of their way to accommodate my urgent request for forms to be filled out and signed by the doctor when I had neglected to plan ahead. I believe that the $10 fee that was referred to was for REPLACEMENT copies. When we get new shots, we ask for an updated copy of the shot record while we are there, no problem. You may have a hard time getting them to answer the phone during the first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes of the day, BUT they are all working to reach patients with critical lab results that were processed overnight and then finish up the last patients of the day and the ones that got worked in due to illness. The patients that need them the most are getting their attention, just as you would want if it was your child with the critical lab results. They have a busy practice, but you and your family will feel like you are getting personalized attention. Their medical providers and nurses are experienced, skilled, and kind, and their front office staff is attentive and welcoming.”

“I would probably give this practice 5 stars if it were still Rappahannock Pediatrics and was being run by Dr. Aaronson. The nurses and doctors are still great, but their new phone system needs work and the wait time was disappointing long. We've been going to Dr. Aaronson for over 11 years and I can't ever recall waiting so long to see a caregiver. There's nothing here that can't be fixed, but I hope that "Mary Washington Medical Group Pediatrics" doesn't become too corporate. It's definitely giving the practice a much-needed technological upgrade, but let's not forget about the basics.”
