As I am nearing the end of my lease with Sky Terrace, I would like to share my experience with those considering relocation. I've been here 13 months, and in that time I've had well over a dozen maintenance calls for various things (A/C, Dishwasher, Plumbing). And while those issues sucked badly, the team that came to repair/replace items were absolutely wonderful! So I would give their Maintenance Team an A+.
The Admin Team has undergone some changes since I signed my Lease with them in 2016. At first, the members that were there seemed stressed and put-off by any questions I had to ask that were beyond the basics. That has since changed dramatically. Just prior to this posting, I called to verify paperwork. Even though there was an issue, the lady I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful in resolving it. So, all things considered, I'd give them a B.
The neighborhood is designed a bit oddly. My house is pretty far from the community dumpster. But even with that, the residents are personable enough and there are plenty of school-age kids for my own children to mingle with. I'd give the Neighborhood as a whole a B.
As long as you are fairly laid back, then you will enjoy your time here. This place does have Federal Support for rent, so there are a few issues with that, but it's a good price for the area.
P.S: I should warn you morning traffic to get out of the community is difficult with the volume of commuting Marines. Plan your commute accordingly.
