Riverbend Church

Love this church. I love Pastor Bobby (my brother from another) and the whole atmosphere really puts me at peace. Finally found the right church - the TRUE church for my family and I. Don't take my word for it. Come visit either Sundays at 9am or at 1100 or check the church out on YouTube!

Great community. Would highly recommend for families and someone who wants a community. There’s always something to do to help you grow deeper in your walk with God.

Been attending for a super long time now; about 7 years. Riverbend is amazing! People are friendly, the teachings are biblically based, we have events often, missions-focused, and there are ministries for kids, teens and single young adults, as well as married adults and 55+, and they encourage connection to both God and others.
My advice for deeper connections: join a journey group and reach out to someone who clicks with you on a Sunday morning. I understand that is probably daunting, so give yourself grace and ease into it if you need to!

I've been a Christian since 1981, and part of various churches since (all of them excellent), yet this is the best church we've ever been part of. It's still a young church, having been started five years ago. Thus, there's "room" for everyone, and a great time to become a part. My wife and I have been greatly renewed in just one year of being members! Outstanding leadership from Dr. Bobby Hill, the Senior Pastor, extraordinary worship, and excellent youth and children's ministry. I could go on and on; it would be well worth your time to give this church a serious effort! *** Update: It's been about 1 1/2 years since I posted this, and my wife and I can say sincerely that we love this church even more! It is an extremely healthy church and an incredible joy to be part of!

Riverbend is one of the biggest reasons we moved to Suffolk. We visited when they were still meeting on Saturday nights and fell in love with everything about the church. I've never been to a church where I could feel the Holy Spirit move so powerfully. The people there are really like family and I can't say enough great things about Pastor Bobby and how much I have learned from him over the last few years. Join a Journey Group if you can because it's the best way to make some close friendships and have other godly men and women better minister to you personally and vise versa.
