(July 28, 2021, 3:36 pm)This is our first summer attending Golden Slippers. I had many friends recommend Golden Slippers Dance Academy and then I seen that they were running such a great summer rate that I had to enroll my daughter.
They have several locations throughout Virginia Beach and tons of hours and variety of dance classes. They even have a good amount of apparel and accessory inventory on sale so you don't have to search else where for leotards, skippers, tap shoes, etc.
All the staff members have been so nice answering any questions I had. My daughter loved her ballet/tap instructor. Overall top notch customer service.
The reason I am giving this place a 4 star is because it looks very outdated and could be renovated or updated. In addition, I don't like not getting to watch my daughter practice. I'm not sure if this is normal for dance but my daughter does gymnastics and other sports where I can watch her practice.
However, they have great rates, lots of locations and hours and very pleasant staff members you can't beat that.
