After searching for low cost healthcare near me, I found Virginia Beach Family Medical, and ...Wow...completely teary eyed at how WONDERFUL this place is...from the Site Supervisor to collecting all of the paperwork to being seen immediately...to the information given!!!! Thank you...thank you...thank you! Affordable and great!!!!
Dr velbis is awesome and very helpful....the staff was so friendly and very understanding....the prices are on point ...100 percent recommend
Absolutely wonderful! Everyone, from the front desk, the nurses, and the doctor, were extremely sweet and helpful .
Had a great experience. Arrived 20 mins early for my appt. time to handle paperwork, the front desk lady was very polite and courteous with my fee. I got in to see my physician before I even finished the three brief sheets I was given to fill out. The nurse was efficient with getting my medical history and checking vitals, size, and temperature. My nurse practitioner, S. Deatherage, was EXTREMELY helpful will all of my concerns. She diagnosed my issue quickly and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Issued me lab tests that I requested, as well. Referred me to an ob/gyn at another southeastern virginia health facility after asking if I was okay with the distance of the location (the suggested location is just as far from my home as this facility). Had my prescription sent to my preferred pharmacy and told me to ask the front desk for a goodRX card to reduce prescription cost. Amazing service! There was a bit of waiting between the dr. leaving the room and coming back, but you have to keep in mind everyone here is very busy (as with any job) and you are getting care at a very helpful price.
It's a decent facility. Unfortunately my doctor never stays there long.
