I always feel welcome here, I have been going to forefront for years and I don’t think I could call another church home. Forefront will always be home.
The most welcoming church you'll ever go to. They truly mean come as you are, no judgements, just love. Great music, great people, great messages delivered in a way that you can understand even if you've never picked up a Bible. The staff and members are down to earth, good people, who just want to love on others...if you've never been to a church, start here. If you've been in a church that made you uncomfortable, try again - but this time try here... it'll change your mind and heart.
This church and group of people have so many wonderful qualities. I love the laid back feeling of the church. I’m always made to feel that I can come as I am. We lived in VB for 8 years now and it took us a while to find the right church home. I love the music. Most importantly I love that every message comes right out of the Bible. Our family is happy and proud to be a part of the Forefront family.
If you are looking for a place that is traditional, only sings hymns, and you have put on your Sunday best to attend, this is not your church. However, if you are looking for a place that you can come as you are, this is it.
I love the relaxed atmosphere, we can wear whatever we are comfortable in. If we want to come in and leave quickly after service, no one makes us feel bad for that. However, if we want to hang out and get to know people after the service, there’s plenty of that too.
They start every service with a secular song that can be linked to the message that day and we love that too, (because, let’s be real,we all have to live in this secular world and it’s good to find a Godly way to do that).
I love that communion is taken weekly and it has not been turned into a ritualistic thing. They make that a time that is very much a personal moment for you and Jesus.
Their contemporary style is not used to turn the grace of God into licentiousness like some of the churches I’ve encountered (you know, the ones that lost their reverence for the sake of relevance). This a Bible teaching church, plain and simple.
I love this church through and through but I’m not giving it five stars because it’s not perfect. Nobody but Jesus is perfect. The pastor himself would tell you that. There’s always room for improvement in every person and every church and I love that Forefront is consistently seeking ways to grow and be better servants of Jesus and their community.
