Artfully prepared authentic Italian cuisine. Quaint and homey with a nice neighborhood eatery feel. Staff is welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious!

Angelo's Italian Restaurant is located in the Booth Hill Shopping Center along General Booth Blvd. You can enter where the Wendy's is for visual reference. However, there is no traffic light at this intersection, so it can be a bit hectic to get in or out during peak times of travel. My most recent visit here was on February 15, 2023.

I hadn't been back for a while due to the experience I had in my first visit in 2017. Since that time, I have been back to this place several times. Things have definitely changed for the better since my first visit.

From the outside, when you come up to the place, it looks like a simple place on the outside. There are a few tables outside for seating as well, but it is pretty limited. It's not hard to see on the outside in the shopping center with the red and green colors.

When I came with my mom, it was an off peak time of day, so there wasn't anyone else seated when we came in. They said we could choose any table inside and that a server would be over shortly. As expected, that happened and she asked us what we wanted to drink. I went with water and my mom went with Coke, so they carry Coke products here. The menu has more options than when I first visited in 2017 as well.

After she came back with the drinks, she asked if we were ready to order and we were. I had ordered a Stromboli with Pepperoni and my mom ordered a Calzone with Pepperoni. While waiting for our orders to come out, our server brought us some bread and butter. The bread and butter were really good too. The bread was very soft. The butter packets were nearly frozen though, so it did take a bit of thawing of the butters,

About 7-10 minutes later, our entrées came out to the table. The only mistake was that they did both as calzones instead of one calzone and one Stromboli. I didn't bring it up since either one would still be good. The calzone was really good too. It was filled with lots of cheese and pepperoni. I ended up taking half of it home to have as a lunch the following day. After we were done, she did bring us a few boxes over and asked if we wanted any desserts. We declined as we were pretty full already and didn't need anything else.

Overall, this has been a much better experience than my very first one here. The food and service were on point. They have an expanded menu now compared to 2017, so it's great to have more options too. With great food and service on this visit, I will definitely be back more often now. You should come check them out too if you are in the area.

Excellent food. Did the special both times. Flounder tonight. Last time a trio combination with eggplant. Good flavor. Really appreciate the chefs. That all said.

The waitress left a lot to be desired this evening. Asked what I’d like to drink. Asked for a glass of Chianti. She took my ID and walked out of the room. Gave me my drink with some reserve. Then proceeded to serve me with some visible dislike.

… Foods good though. I’d probably come back just for that. Just wish I didn’t have to deal with this lady.

Thank you Angelo for a delicious dinner and a beautiful night. I appreciate the way you and your staff made me feel special tonight. As always greeting from Maryland. Until next time

10/10 recommend. I’ve been going here for almost a year now. Staff is very professional and knowledgeable! Such a homey environment. AMAZING food & wine! I get the Cabernet but recently tried the Tinazzi red wine. Such a clean restaurant with fresh cooked food as well. Never rushed to order or to leave.
