Ms Marrilyn's Home Learning

One of the best learning center in all of the Hampton Roads area! She not only provides a kind and loving environment, but she mentally prepares her little ones for school. My child's kindergarten teacher is truly impressed with his knowledge. She labels him as almost ready for first grade and he has only been in school for months.

I don't have enough "STARS" to rate Ms. Marilyn's home learning day care! A year back when we were looking for a pre-school for our son I wanted absolutely the very best, we were also looking for a pre-school that was a little more hands-on and little more out-of-the-box and little less "cookie cutter". Ms. Marilyn's home day care gave us all this and more! After our first interview with her I thought " this is the kind of teacher I WANT TO BE to our son". Ms. Marilyn taught our son to read, write, to swim, to make crafts and lot more. Above all , she instilled in him confidence and excellent manners.

She also organizes the best birthday parties for all the students and make the day so special for the little one, Yes! She actually got a fire truck (the real one!!!) with firefighters for our sons Fire fighter themed birthday! She goes above the beyond, to both educate and making the process of learning fun for the children. Her individualized attention is something we are forever grateful for.

A great teacher at the right time is the greatest game-changer! And one that ABSOLUTELY loves her work and gives it her best every single day is an absolute blessing! We are blessed to have met Ms Marilyn and Thankful for the amazing ways she has helped in our little man's growth!

I highly recommend Ms Marilyn's home learning day care to anyone who wants their little one to get a flying start into kindergarten! And life !

My daughter has been apart of Ms. Marilyn's home day care for just shy of a year, and I couldn't be more pleased. I am a first time mom, and with that, came a sort of panic about someone else watching my daughter. I will tell you that with out a doubt, I know my little one is in great hands, safe and loved. Ms. Marrilyn and her team do an amazing job at teaching life skills early on such as confidence and self esteem. Our children have the capability to do so much, and I promise they will thrive here. Manners, letters, & numbers, are just the beginning of what this wonderful home teaches.
Oh and just a small side note, we recently moved 30 min out of town and I drive an extra 15 min past my work so my daughter continues going here, because I couldn't imagine my toddler going anywhere else.

Ms. Marrilyn's Home Learning day care is hands down the BEST in Hampton Roads. She teaches your child at Preschool level and helps the parents grow and learn along side with their child. My daughter just turned 3 and she can write her first/last name, Identify, write and sound out each letter of the alphabet, count 1-100 and write numbers 1-6. Ms. Marrilyn also provides swim lessons, field trips and arts & crafts. Something my daughter really looks forward to. As if that isn't enough, my husband and I also get A LOT of compliments on how well mannered and disciplined our daughter is. She has done a complete 180 while attending Ms. Marrilyn's Home Learning Daycare. We consider Ms. Marrilyn family or as my daughter would say her best friend.
